Lifeco Social Worker Sam provides social work services for children, youth and adults in the Auckland area.

Sam is a Maori and Pasifika social work practitioner with experience working in Sensitive Claims, Care and Protection, Youth Justice, Family Violence, and Whanau Ora Services. Sam strives to help clients achieve their  goals, and remove barriers for more effective rehabilitation. Sam can support clients to engage with support services within the community, this includes advocating on their behalf with government agencies such as Oranga Tamariki, Kainga Ora or Work and income New Zealand. Sam works with a trauma informed lens, incorporating a strengths based approach. Sam has a special interest in working alongside children and youth to help them reach their full potential.

Qualifications 

  • BSW – Bachelor of Social Work (Massey University)
  • PGDipProfSup – Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Supervision (University of Auckland)
  • DDP Level 1 Cert – Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy Level 1
